We believe it is critical for the members of the Body of Christ to be in communion and fellowship with one another. And while such communion and fellowship does take place on a larger scale every Sunday at Gather Lynchburg, we strongly encourage everyone to also be a part of a Gather Group.
Gather Groups are not separate churches, existing apart from the corporate body of believers that gather weekly at Gather Lynchburg, rather, Gather Groups are simply small scale gatherings of the “church” (the Body of Christ) in homes throughout our community. While each Gather Group will have its own leader and may meet on its own schedule, all Gather Groups remain under the spiritual covering of Gather Lynchburg.
In short, Gather Groups are small scale gatherings of the “church” (the Body of Christ) in homes throughout our community. Currently we have 3 Gather Groups – one in the Boonesboro area hosted by Mike and Sarah Kalafian, one in the Forest area hosted by Scott and Lisa Medinger, and one in the Timberlake area hosted by Rich and Adele Previte.
Gather Groups meet on the 1st and 3rd Sunday nights of each month at 6:00 pm.
We anticipate launching additional Gather Groups as the Lord continues to expand our reach and influence.
