Are you new to Gather Lynchburg?

Here are some answers to questions we're often asked.
The parking area for Gather Lynchburg, including handicapped accessible parking,  is located in the back of the building. Just turn into either one of our driveways (off of Fort Avenue) and you can't miss it. Attendants are available to assist in parking if needed.
Gather Lynchburg is pretty informal. Wear whatever you’re comfortable wearing.
Our Sunday morning gatherings usually last around an hour and a half or so. Of course, the length of the service is largely determined by the passionate responses of God's people to the moving and operation of the Holy Spirit.
A typical Sunday morning worship service consists of 3-4 praise and worship songs, prayer, announcements, a Scripture-based message, and an opportunity to respond to the message. As a Pentecostal church, we worship passionately and welcome the operation of spiritual gifts during our worship services.
Giving in the offering is not required, but you can certainly give if you want to. We believe God blesses His people to be a blessing to the world. Our ministries are funded by the generous support of the people who call Gather Lynchburg their home church.
Just so you know, the offering boxes are located on the platform in the main worship center. You should feel free to proceed to the platform and give at any time before, during, or after the service. You can also give electronically by tapping your smartphone on the Tithely Tap disc located in the church foyer!
As a not-for profit / 501c3 organization, all of your contributions to Gather Lynchburg are tax deductible.
Gather Lynchburg practices open communion. That means that you don't have to be a member of our church, or any church for that matter, in order to partake in Communion. As long as you belong to Jesus, that's good enough for us. Communion is observed on the first Sunday of each month.
YES! We love kids (and their families) at Gather Lynchburg, so bring them with you when you come.
We provide full nursery service for the little ones, and Gather Kids (children's church) meets during the Sunday morning service. Of course, you are more than welcome to keep your kids with you during service.
Don't worry if they get a little fussy, we see that as sign that God is blessing our church with growing families!
